Dr. Kimball Lundahl, D.C.
After Dr. Kimball Lundahl graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic he has used his education and experience to achieve personal optimal health. For over 30 years he has strived to pass that knowledge on to his patients and clients.
His father, Dr. Gerald Lundahl, M.D., started a medical weight loss business with the desire to help people while creating more time to spend with his family. Dr. Kimball Lundahl took his education and knowledge of nutrition and applied it to his father’s business, taking it to the next level. He saw a need to combat the growing crisis of obesity, and was able to build a successful practice that provided quality patient care. Through this experience he has learned there is nothing more gratifying than helping prevent serious diseases and saving lives.
Over the years Dr. Kimball Lundahl goal has been to help other doctors do the same. He has developed a complete business system, and as the President of Healthy Habits, he has helped turn many practices into functional and financially sound businesses.
Dr. Joel Yaffa, M.D.
Joel Yaffa, M.D. graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He practiced as a family doctor in Southern New Jersey for 12 years. His shift to the Targeted Hormone Balancing method began with a personal medical crisis in his own family. He began researching treatment alternatives and consulted with dozens of physicians across a broad spectrum of medical disciplines. Happily, the medical crisis passed, and Dr. Yaffa was now enriched by the enormous amount of knowledge that he accumulated during that period. As a result, he made a decision to incorporate Targeted Hormone Balancing into his day-to-day medical practice.
In addition to being a full-time practitioner of Targeted Hormone Balancing, Dr. Yaffa has become a strong and well known advocate for Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy. In 2008 he organized several “BHRT World Summit” Internet Seminars which brought thousands of participants together with dozens of the most well-known and highly regarded BHRT experts in the world.
Dr. Yaffa provides training, mentoring, software and practice-building consulting, to both new and experienced practitioners. He combines his decades of clinical treatment experience with a sophisticated Internet based software system that allows patients to describe symptoms and sets up a feedback-based dialog between patients and medical practitioners.

Teresa Gabiola Shelton, MPAS, PA-C
Teresa joined Healthy Habits with an extensive background in Family Practice and Urgent Care. However, she has held a special interest in Bioidentical Hormone Treatment as well as Medical Weight Loss for quite some time which steered her toward a career with Healthy Habits. Teresa’s foremost focus is patient wellness and their quality of life. She lives to help patients achieve their best sense of self and health.
Teresa graduated with her bachelor’s degree from University of Idaho in International Business. She spent more than 10 years working in sales for the travel and pharmaceutical industries before transitioning into healthcare. Teresa felt she was could do more for people. She wanted a more hands on and service-oriented career as a healthcare provider. After 2 years as a Medical Assistant, she started training at Idaho State University under the PA program. After completion of the program she spent the next 5 years working in medically-underserved community health care clinics to provide healthcare to underprivileged neighborhoods. During those 5 years, she discovered that treating current or immediate issues did not lead her patients to long-term cures. There was limited research, and no guided effort in traditional medicine to finding permanent solutions; nor any implementation offering opportunities for patients to take charge of their own health.
Teresa is also a co-author of a textbook on Evidence-Based Practice for clinicians which has been implemented in medical and allied health training curriculum throughout the US over the past 3 years. A dedicated researcher, she has sought clinically proven, well-researched diagnostic and treatment approaches to all of her patient’s health care needs reaching for the most optimal results. She is dedicated to blending traditional and alternative medicine options to tailor a patient specific treatment program for the individual need of each person. Her passion is to help everyone set and meet their specific wellness goals.
A native of Idaho, Teresa has also lived abroad many times in Spain (the Basque Country) and even worked in Mexico. She is extremely proud of her shared Hispanic culture with all of her Spanish speaking patients. In addition to her busy career of tending to her patient’s needs, Teresa also enjoys volunteering her time with the Euskaldunak Basque Club. She currently resides in Boise with her husband Brett and 2 sons. Her entire family practices a healthy lifestyle and she delights in sharing her experiences to help guide her patients into a longer, healthier, and more satisfying lifestyle.
